Hancock Estabrook, LLP is looking for a full-time Payroll/Accounting Assistant. The successful candidate must have payroll experience (ADP products preferred) as well as general accounting knowledge to include processing bi-weekly payroll, partner quarterly distributions, daily accounting deposits, reconciliation of monthly benefit and cell phone statements, running various Excel and 401K reports, preparation of memos and correspondence for CFO and Firm Administrator and assist with preparation of annual payroll budget. Candidate must be highly organized and a self-starter, high level of confidentiality, detail oriented, conscientious, strong interpersonal skills, good judgment and be able to effectively communicate with attorneys and staff. Knowledge of Microsoft offices products; specifically Word, Outlook and Excel.
